Poco, Keep On Trying (1975)
^{Key: :[A] (w: Timothy B. Schmit)}

INTRO:
[A] Oh [E] oh [A] oh [E] oh

VERSE 1:
[A] I've been thinkin' [E] 'bout, all the times you told me
[A] You're so full of [E] doubt, you just can't let it be, but I [Gbm] know
[D] If you keep on [E] comin' back for [Gbm] more
Then [E] I'll keep on [D] tryin', [A] I'll keep on [E] tryin'

VERSE 2:
And [A] I've been drinkin' [E] now, just a little too much
[A] And I don't know [E] how, I can get in touch with [Gbm] you
[D] Now there's only [E] one thing for me to [Gbm] do
Is to [E] keep on [D] tryin', [A] to get home to [E] you

PRE-CHORUS:
And I [Gbm] feel so [E] satisfied when, [D] I can [A] see you smile
[Gbm] I want [E] to confide in, [D] all that is [E] true

CHORUS:
So I [A] keep on [E] trying, I'm [D] thru with [A] lying
Just like the [Gbm] sun above, [A] I'll come shining [E] thru
Oh yes I'll [A] keep on [E] trying, I'm [D] tired of [A] crying
I've got to [Gbm] find a way, to [E] get home to [A] you

VERSE 3:
[A] I've been thinkin' [E] 'bout, all the times you held me
[A] I never heard you [E] shout, the flow of energy was so [Gbm] fine
[D] Now I think I'll [E] lay it on the [Gbm] line
And [E] keep on [D] tryin', [A] to get on home to [E] you

REPEAT PRE-CHORUS:

REPEAT CHORUS:
