Poco, Keep On Trying (1975)
^{Key: :[Gb] (w: Timothy B. Schmit)}

INTRO:
[Gb] Oh [Db] oh [Gb] oh [Db] oh

VERSE 1:
[Gb] I've been thinkin' [Db] 'bout, all the times you told me
[Gb] You're so full of [Db] doubt, you just can't let it be, but I [Ebm] know
[B] If you keep on [Db] comin' back for [Ebm] more
Then [Db] I'll keep on [B] tryin', [Gb] I'll keep on [Db] tryin'

VERSE 2:
And [Gb] I've been drinkin' [Db] now, just a little too much
[Gb] And I don't know [Db] how, I can get in touch with [Ebm] you
[B] Now there's only [Db] one thing for me to [Ebm] do
Is to [Db] keep on [B] tryin', [Gb] to get home to [Db] you

PRE-CHORUS:
And I [Ebm] feel so [Db] satisfied when, [B] I can [Gb] see you smile
[Ebm] I want [Db] to confide in, [B] all that is [Db] true

CHORUS:
So I [Gb] keep on [Db] trying, I'm [B] thru with [Gb] lying
Just like the [Ebm] sun above, [Gb] I'll come shining [Db] thru
Oh yes I'll [Gb] keep on [Db] trying, I'm [B] tired of [Gb] crying
I've got to [Ebm] find a way, to [Db] get home to [Gb] you

VERSE 3:
[Gb] I've been thinkin' [Db] 'bout, all the times you held me
[Gb] I never heard you [Db] shout, the flow of energy was so [Ebm] fine
[B] Now I think I'll [Db] lay it on the [Ebm] line
And [Db] keep on [B] tryin', [Gb] to get on home to [Db] you

REPEAT PRE-CHORUS:

REPEAT CHORUS:

END: ^[Db]^[Gb open]
