Poco, Keep On Trying (1975)
^{Key: :[Bb] (w: Timothy B. Schmit)}

INTRO:
[Bb] Oh [F] oh [Bb] oh [F] oh

VERSE 1:
[Bb] I've been thinkin' [F] 'bout, all the times you told me
[Bb] You're so full of [F] doubt, you just can't let it be, but I [Gm] know
[Eb] If you keep on [F] comin' back for [Gm] more
Then [F] I'll keep on [Eb] tryin', [Bb] I'll keep on [F] tryin'

VERSE 2:
And [Bb] I've been drinkin' [F] now, just a little too much
[Bb] And I don't know [F] how, I can get in touch with [Gm] you
[Eb] Now there's only [F] one thing for me to [Gm] do
Is to [F] keep on [Eb] tryin', [Bb] to get home to [F] you

PRE-CHORUS:
And I [Gm] feel so [F] satisfied when, [Eb] I can [Bb] see you smile
[Gm] I want [F] to confide in, [Eb] all that is [F] true

CHORUS:
So I [Bb] keep on [F] trying, I'm [Eb] thru with [Bb] lying
Just like the [Gm] sun above, [Bb] I'll come shining [F] thru
Oh yes I'll [Bb] keep on [F] trying, I'm [Eb] tired of [Bb] crying
I've got to [Gm] find a way, to [F] get home to [Bb] you

VERSE 3:
[Bb] I've been thinkin' [F] 'bout, all the times you held me
[Bb] I never heard you [F] shout, the flow of energy was so [Gm] fine
[Eb] Now I think I'll [F] lay it on the [Gm] line
And [F] keep on [Eb] tryin', [Bb] to get on home to [F] you

REPEAT PRE-CHORUS:

REPEAT CHORUS:

END: ^[F]^[Bb open]
