CHORUS:
And I [A#] ask you, [F*] friend, what's a [A#] fella to [F*] do?
'Cause her [Dm] hair was [C] black, and her [A#] eyes were [F*] blue
And I [A#] knew right [F*] then, I'd be [A#] takin' a [F*] whirl
'Round the [Dm] Salthill [C] Prom, with a [A#] Galway [F*] girl

CHORUS 2:
And I [A#] ask you, [F*] friend, what's a [A#] fella to [F*] do?
'Cause her [Dm] hair was [C] black, and her [A#] eyes were [F*] blue
So I [A#] took her [F*] hand, and I [A#] gave her a [F*] twirl
And I [Dm] lost my [C] heart, to a [A#] Galway [F*] girl

When [F] I woke up I was all alone [A#]
With a [F] broken [C] heart and a [A#] ticket [F] home

CHORUS 3:
And I [A#] ask you [F*] now, tell me [A#] what would you [F*] do
If her [Dm] hair was [C] black, and her [A#] eyes were [F*] blue
'Cause I've [A#] travelled [F*] around, I've been all [A#] over this [F*] world
Boys I [Dm] ain't never seen [C] nothin', like a [A#] Galway [F*] girl
